Darryl King
Founder & Executive Director
My Background
I was born and raised on the South Shore of Montreal, Chateauguay to be exact. I realized my passion for working with children while working at a summer camp one year. From there I went on to become the Vice-president of Chateauguay Basketball Association, Co-Founder of Elite Basketball Skills Academy. I am currently studying at McGill University in the 3rd year of the B.Ed Secondary English program.
Fun Fact
I have not missed a Dallas Cowboys game, whether in-person or watching on TV, since 1989.
Darnell Jones
My Background
I am a graduate of the Community Recreation and Leadership Training Program at Dawson College. Following my time at Dawson, I continued my education at McGill University where I graduated from the Health and Physical Education program. Over the years I have worked at Westhaven Community Center and Loyola Community Center in NDG. My most notable tenure includes over 10 years of experience at Tyndale St-Georges Community Center in the Children, Youth and Families department.

I am a former Mixed Martial Arts amateur champion.
Nadine Bailey
My Background
I am passionate about philanthropy and programs that help break down systemic barriers for marginalized communities. I am a woman in STEM which offers me a unique perspective that is complementary to our other board members.

I once got very lost solo in the Venice canals.
Christopher Pierre
My Background
Director of business accounts by day and basketball coach by night, I’m also the founder of the La Prairie Basketball Association. Doing things differently and making an impact on my community are very important to me.

People are often surprised to learn that I speak Japanese.
Chris Lockhart
My Background
I was born and raised in Montréal. Over the years I have worked with organizations such as Sun Youth, YMCA’s of Quebec, English Montreal School Board, Tyndale St-Georges Community Centre, African Canadian Development and Prevention Network and currently with the Côte Des Neiges Black Community Association. I have also been involved with Union United Church, where I currently sit as the chair of the Rev. Dr. Charles H. Este Scholarship and Bursary Committee.

I like to collect jerseys of my favorite sports teams.
